Our return policy is for store credit only.

At this time, we do not offer exchanges. We can not guarantee the item you would like still be available when the return reaches our department.

    Items are eligible for return if they meet the following criteria:
  • All items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and still have original tags attached. Shoes must be returned in their original box. If you returned items you have tried on and they have makeup or deodorant stains, you will not be issued a store credit. The items will be sent back to you for a charge.
  • Item(s) must be received by Modern Ego no later than 14 days from the delivery date. No exceptions.
  • All sale items or items purchase with a 30% off coupon or more, are final. No returns or exchanges.
  • We will hold non-returnable items for 30 days. After 30 days, the items will be donated to charity.

If your item does not meet the above criteria, do NOT attempt to return your items as they will be rejected by our Returns Department.


To make your return:

  • You are responsible for the shipping and handling charges of the return item(s). Original and return shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Please email us to receive a Return Slip. Complete the Return Slip and include it with the item(s) you are returning.
  • Please make sure your return meets the criteria stated above. If it fails to meet any of the requirements, your item(s) will be sent back to you at your cost.
  • Please neatly fold the item(s) and wrap them in tissue.
  • Please allow 5 business days to process your return.

When sending your items, we strongly suggest sending them USPS Priority mail, UPS, or FedEx with a tracking number. Modern Ego is not responsible for packages lost or stolen in transit.

Defective Item:

  • In the case of a defective item, you must bring it to our attention within 3 days to be eligible for a replacement.
Holiday Returns:
  • For 2016, orders placed between November 21, 2016 to December 25, 2016 are eligible for a store credit or exchange. Any item(s) must be received at our warehouse no later than January 16, 2017. Please note the above criteria does apply and no exceptions will be made. All sale items are final sale.
